Druids are spellcasters that draw their power from the primal forces of nature.

My favorite thing about druids is thier ability to shape shift into different animal and elemental forms to adapt to any situation. A druid wanting to wade into combat becomes a bear or a tiger. Druids needing more mobility can fly around as an air elemental. Tiny animal forms are perfect for spying and scouting ahead.

Druids have weaker powers of healing and restoration compared to the cleric but more spells that directly harm and disable. They get the fewest available spells per day but this is supplemented by some of the most useful class abilities available. Including the permanent companionship of a magically enhanced animal that grows in power as the druid gains levels.
